Sanctuary Reunite For New Album

Sanctuary, the cult Seattle metalheads, are to re-form for a studio album.

The band released two albums – 1987’s Refuge Denied (produced by Dave Mustaine) and Into The Mirror Black three years later – before splitting up, with vocalist Warrel Dane, guitarist Jeff Loomis and bassist Jim Sheppard going on to start Nevermore. Sanctuary’s two albums have just been reissued as a double CD by Iron Bird Records.

More details are expected to be confirmed on this project soon. But Dane insists this plan won’t affect Nevermore, who are just about to release new album The Obsidian Conspiracy.
