Many drummers start out bashing out rhythms on the bottom of pots and pans but Rush drummer Neil Peart has actually turned them over and learned to use them. Now he’s offering up cooking tips on his website. Plus: post your ideas for Rush recipes!

The new section of his website called Bubba’s Bar and Grill, launching in July, will contain Neil’s own recipes and his theories on good cooking, including why you should bake a pie to impress women. Read more here.

Neil said: “In this space I will assemble and present some of that lore, along with some simple recipes, because it seems a shame that other Bubbas (of any gender and ethnicity) should have to suffer the foolishness of my youth — I was in my forties before I learned to cook anything more complicated than soft-boiled eggs.”
