The 14 titles, including ‘Sticky Fingers’, ‘Tattoo You’ and ‘Bridges To Babylon’, are set to be released in three batches over the course of the summer.

A release of a special, mega-box set including all 14 LP’s is also planned, and each one of the albums will also be made available digitally.

The re-issued titles, and release dates are as follows:

First batch (May 4):

‘Sticky Fingers’
‘Goats Head Soup’
‘It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll’
‘Black And Blue’

Second batch (June 8):

‘Some Girls’
‘Emotional Rescue’
‘Tattoo You’
‘Undercover’

Third batch (July 13):

‘Dirty Work’
‘Steel Wheels’
‘Voodoo Lounge’
‘Bridges To Babylon’
‘A Bigger Bang’

It is also expected that the band will announce the release of a re-mastered version of their magnum opus, 1972’s ‘Exile On Main Street’ – though as of yet, no date has been set.

Greedy bastards. How many re-issues have they had now? Is Mick’s multi-child support not covered?

A Bigger Bang remastered? It only came out in 2005?!

I lost my respect for Mick Jagger with his cut throat tactics in dealing with Mick Taylor. How about coming clean on some of the songwriting credits. Especially on the songs that Keith didn’t even play on! Jagger here is your chance to set the record straight and payback Taylor for your greed. You got the cash, when are you gonna make good on it?

More Re-Issues??? I bought all my 2nd or 3rd Gen reissues back in the early ’90’s when they released their albums in the “original album packaging”. Sticky FIngers CD had a working zipper and everything. Remember those?

Nowadays that I have more money to play with, I purchased a turntable, and will listen to the Stones the analog way which needs no reissue.

Now off to the second hand record store.
