Roger Taylor: Queen Might Work With American Idol Singer

It might not yet be curtains for Queen. Brian May and Roger Taylor could next work with American Idol star Adam Lambert.

There were rumours earlier this year that Lambert, who was runner-up in the US TV series, was going to team up with the Queen pair. But this was quickly rubbished by them. Now, though, things appear a little different.

Taylor told the BBC: “He is one of the most phenomenal singers and I think at some point in the future we’d love to — Brian May and I — would like to do something with him maybe. It may happen — we might do something with him in the future. He is phenomenally talented. He has one of the greatest voices I’ve ever heard.”

Since Queen + Paul Rodgers went their separate ways earlier this year – after one studio and one live album – there’s been speculation about May and Taylor would do next. Lambert’s name started to get mentioned when he sang with the famed duo during the final of American Idol. Now, he might get his dream move. Kinda like a player at York City joining Barcelona.

just don’t cal it Queen,

If you did then it would be a new low for Brian & Roger.

Say its not true Roger!!!!

of this is true, a quote from the track “White Queen” from Queen’s second, and BRILLIANT album, comes to mind

“..So Sad, it Ends..”

what a complete joke this would be. perhaps the best band in the world, built on their own songs and talent – teaming up with a karaoke contestant from a tv show (and that’s what it is, nothing more) that is the COMPLETE opposite of everything that makes a good band. and MADE the good bands we all love.including Queen.
suddenly, John Deacon is the true champion of Queen.

guswalk

adam who?!?!
oh, i see..paul rodgers was to straight to be the frontman for one of the greatest bands of all time!!
