Robert Plant has been recognised in The Queen’s New Year Honours list and has been given a CBE.
Plant is honoured for his services to music as part of the 966-strong list of honours.
It’s been a great, if controversial, year for Plant following yet more recognition (including a Mercury Music Award nomination) being hoist upon him for his work with country singer Alison Krauss while the flamboyant frontman continues to be linked to a full world tour with Led Zeppelin.
