Remember The 5th Of November: A Fawkeing Soundtrack

mdome / News / 05/11/2009 11:48am

It’s Guy Fawkes’ Night. Or Bonfire Night, if you prefer. When we ‘celebrate’ the fact that, 404 years ago, some bloke called Guy Fawkes and some of his pals failed to blow up the Houses Of Parliament.

We do it with fireworks displays which attempt to rival those at the end of every summer rock festival, and by throwing half-formed effigies of Master Fawkes on to a bonfire.

So, to get you in the mood, here’s the soundtrack for November 5 – we’ll call it the Classic Rock Guy-de to the day!
