Rammstein Change Album For Germany
Rammstein are to release a new version of current album Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da in Germany.
This is being done to appease the Federal Office For The Examination Of Media Harmful To Young People. Last week this government organisation banned the album from public display, because of objections to photos on the cover showing guitarist Richard Kruspe with a masked, naked woman over his knee. They also found the track Ich Tue Dir Weh (translating as I Want To Hurt You) offensive.
So now, Rammstein have agreed to remove both the photos and the song in question. This is despite keyboard player Christian Lorenz commenting that the ruling was, ” A petty misunderstanding of art, and a massive interference with civil rights”.
