Former Kiss drummer Peter Criss is to have his memoirs published next year.
To be called Makeup To Breakup, it will be published by Scribner (a subsidiary of Simon & Schuster) next autumn. Criss will write this in collaboration with Larry Sloman.
Says the drummer: “I am so blessed that I am finally going to write my autobiography, and I hope you enjoy the ride. The best of all is I get to share my true feelings of my love for God, family, friends and fame. It’s been a wonderful life”.

Been hearing this since…ooooh 1981…
I hate it when rock stars bring fiction – i.e. God, into their biographies.
Peter is lucky to have been in Kiss at all. A very average drummer.
Metalmaz. Since i first saw them in 1983, Kiss have been my favourite band. Seen them on every tour and the one offs at Donington etc. But even i have to admit, most of Kiss are or have been fairly average.
Since I first saw them in 1983 they were boring. It is english classic rock style. Freaks and morrons. I think Classic rock magazine should put some make up on. It will bring more attention on the crap you write about.
