Pete Townshend Plays Intimate Acoustic Set
Pete Townshend played a 20-minute acoustic set last night (November 9), in front of just 200 people, prior to picking up a Classic Rock Award, with Quadrophenia being named Classic Album.
The event happened at the Bush Hall in London, when The Who great was joined by guests, including Roger Daltrey. Among the songs played were:
Following this, Townshend did an hour-long q&a session with the audience, about the making of the Quadrophenia album.
This was all to celebrate the release of The Director’s Cut deluxe edition of Quadrophenia, due out on November 14.
