Paul Di’Anno Sent To Jail

Former Iron Maiden singer Paul Di’Anno has been jailed for falsely claiming disability benefits.

As we reported recently, Di’Anno admitted he’d claimed about £45,000 after saying nerve damage in his back prevented him from working.

But Di’Anno was caught when Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) investigators spotted a YouTube video of him jumping around on stage during a live show in 2006.

He has been jailed for nine months in Salisbury, and will serve at least four-and-a-half months, before being eligible for release on conditional bail.
