Paramore Announce Brand New UK Shows
Paramore are coming to the UK just before Christmas.
Hayley Williams and the boys will be playing Glasgow SECC December 10, Birmingham NIA 11, Dublin O2 Point 12, Cardiff International Arena 14, Manchester MEN 16, Brighton Centre 17, London Wembley Arena 18.
The band’s latest album, Brand New Eyes, debuted at No.1 in the official UK charts yesterday – displacing Madonna from the top spot.
The bad news is that Paramore just cancelled a batch of US dates due to Williams suffering from laryngitis. The shows are due to recommence in Chicago on October 10th.
In a post on Paramore’s official site, Williams apologised for the postponements and gave fans an update on her condition.
“This week I saw one of the best doctors in the country to check on my vocal cords. I knew it wasn’t going to be good but knowing that we were just starting our tour, I was trying to remain positive about it. In short, I’ve got laryngitis and need several days of vox rest,” she wrote. “I just have to be smart about this whole thing. So, we may have to rework the way I do stuff on the road … like not only do I need to watch what I eat, but how much I talk at meet-and-greets and signings and press.”
So brand new that they sold out over a week ago!
