Panther Division Out To Destroy UK In 2010!

Steel Panther are wasting no opportunities to play in the UK. They’ve already announced shows for 2010.

The lairy, licentious libidinous lotharios are to play at the Newcastle O2 Academy on March 18 (tickets cost £13.50) and Brixton’s O2 Academy the next night (tickets cost £16).

Tickets are to on sale from 9am on Wednesday, October 28. And don’t forget, you can feel the Steel this week when the Panther open for ZZ Top at Wolverhampton Civic Hall October 27, London Wembley Arena 28. They also headline Nottingham Rock City on October 29.

Heavy Metal’s back bitches.

these guys are fantastic.

So have they finally realised that the not funny in the first place joke is wearing thin & they need to milk it as much as possible before it’s too late? So long SP, don’t hurry back.

sounds like someone could use the shocker.

See you there folks. Might even dig out the spandex (Not that I ever had any ;)

Look the world is going to shit – it is crying out for Steel Panther to bring the fun back.

Musically – Feel the Steel is a great 80’s style hair metal album – Lyrically – yeah some of them are bit purile, but I can’t get enough of Eyes of a Panther and Eatin Ain’t Cheatin – plus they’ve introduced the world to The Shocker which can’t be a bad thing can it?

Hope they play Manchester again. The academy gig in September was fantastic.

The world needs more bands like Steel Panther!

Saw them open for ZZ Top last night – and they were brilliant. They are obviously having fun when they perform and this translates to the audience. The lyrics are more than a bit over the top, however they need to be in order to send up the era they are imitating – which means you can’t take offence. Also the solo by ‘The best leag guitar player…in the band’ was absolutely excellent. Well worth seeing and thanks to ZZ Top for having them open as they warmed up the crowd ready for the headliners and contributed to a gret night.

Saw them supporting ZZ top at Wolverhampton and I was blown away. Better live than any of the hair metal bands I saw in the eighties. And the album , despite being very derivative in places ( deliberately ?) is the best fun metal album I heard in ten years.

A pity I can’t play the album to my rock-loving kids though !
