Ozzfest Announces London Show
Ozzfest is coming to London.
It’ll happen on September 18 at the O2 Arena.
Ozzy Osbourne will headline (natch), supported by Korn, Skindred and the Murderdolls. More bands will be added soon.
Tickets go on sale from 9am on Friday, June 18. They cost £40 (subject to booking fee) and are available from 0871 230 5595, www.kililive.com plus the usual outlets.
Before that, Ozzy will headline the iTunes Festival at The Roundhouse in London on July 3. And he’s teamed up with myspace, to give an unsigned band the chance to support him.
Says Ozzy: Throughout my career I’ve felt this obligation to give up-and-coming bands a leg up in the music business…I’m looking to give a new band a huge fucking break by having them open the show.”

Pity its such a piss poor lineup
Lofty, i know the line up is piss poor but £ 40 to see Ozzy is not too bad a deal considering today’s ticket prices….
Personally I think its a cracking line up and for a great price. Saturday night too – bring it on!
“Throughout my career I’ve felt this obligation to give up-and-coming bands a leg up in the music business…” – as long as you can afford the “pay to play” cause to get on the Ozzfest Tour (something which went out with the dinosaurs, yet which Sharon Osbourne insists on keeping).
Remember that if it wasn’t for Sharon the Ozz-Man probably wouldn’t be around; I know it’s a shame but it’s all about the “benjamins” these days. I wish I was in London at that time though, sounds like a great deal – both Andys have got the right idea…
