Celebrate ‘Def Leppard Day’ today…if you’re in New York.
There will be a touch of Hysteria in Hamburg today because it is officially ‘Def Leppard Day’ in the small town in New York state.

The town board unanimously voted on Monday of this week to official designate the day in celebration of one of the 80’s greatest hard rock bands.

Band member Phil Collen and Rick Savage will be signing autographs at a local music store before playing a gig at the town’s Darian Lake performing arts center.

The store’s owner is proud to have the band making an appearance at his shop, the only of this kind they are making on their current tour, he told Buffalo News, “This is an important band. This isn’t the blown-out rocker tour.”

We’ll be celebrating Def Leppard Day by pouring some sugar in our tea and writing love and hate on our knuckles and slapping our fists together. We advise you to do something equally rock’n’roll to celebrate ‘Def Leppard Day’ today.

Def Leppard are allegedly releasing their headline performance at this year’s Download festival and you can also check out our Buyer’s Guide to Def Leppard here!
