‘A MAGICAL HISTORY TOUR’: THE FIRST EVER WEST COAST BEATLES TOUR LAUNCHES THIS WEEKEND – PROMISES BEATLES FANS THE ULTIMATE INSIDERS GUIDE INTO THE FAB FOUR’S TIME IN LOS ANGELES AND THEIR CONTINUING IMPACT UPON AMERICA

“This tour promises to be an amazing and essential experience for all Beatles fans”
– DJ Rob Quicke, Host of the syndicated Britsound Radio Show

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 24, 2009: It’s taken over forty years, but at last Los Angeles and the west coast of America will have a Beatles tour of their own, the brand new A MAGICAL HISTORY TOUR. Launching on September 26, this exclusive 3.5 hour tour of Los Angeles takes visitors in an air-conditioned van to the very places where the Beatles lived, the venues where they performed and the studio where they recorded. The tour also includes extensive historical information and is packed with Beatles trivia and rare information about the Fab Four.
The tour starts in Santa Monica and ends at the legendary Hollywood Bowl where the Beatles played to sold out audiences in 1964 and 1965. Along the way passengers will hear popular and rare songs related to the Beatles west coast experiences, and hear stories and anecdotes about the Beatles and their love of America.
The tour has been extensively researched and developed by Beatles expert GILLIAN LOMAX. Gillian is actually from the Liverpool area and is a professional Beatles tour guide and radio personality living in Los Angeles. Gillian is well known and loved by countless Beatles fans as she has been the voice of Beatles news for the past six years, reporting Beatles news with 97.1 KLSX and 95.5 KLOS Breakfast With The Beatles, as senior correspondent on Britsound Radio, and news reporter on Beatlesradio.com.
“L. A. is filled with many exciting and different events happening every day – it’s no wonder The Beatles all chose to live here at one time”, says Gillian Lomax. “Anyone who likes The Beatles will find this tour fascinating and exciting.”
The 3.5 hour tour starts at 10AM at a designated meeting point and includes a short break.

A LIMITED NUMBER OF FREE MEDIA PASSES FOR THIS TOUR ARE NOW AVAILABLE. PLEASE CONTACT GILLIAN LOMAX TO RESERVE YOUR PLACE.

In fairness to CR, the magazine isn't due out until August 5th. That's possibly the reason that it's not on the website yet. We're all looking for something that isn't on sale at the moment.

Having said that, CR hasn't done a good job of jumping in and clarifying our issues. A simple post on their part could have cleared this up.

Be that as it may, let's all hang tight until the 5th and see if we can find it on the website or in the stores at that time.

This is pure madness.
I'm subscribed to classic rock and want to subscribe to the prog version as well but can't.
The link above takes you to a company that can't supply it either and it doesn't seem to be in any shops.
I had to but issue 1 on ebay for a stupid amount of money and got the last remaining copy in WHSmith of issue 2.
Isn't it kind of obvious that you should (i) allow people to subscribe (ii) print more (iii) distribute it more

I really would like to buy "prog rock" but apparently
here in Germany it is simply not available even in shops where I can buy classic rock.
So please deliver the mag to Germany asap!

I would love to buy the prog rock mags, but since the first two issues were in my local book store for the ridiculous price of $27 Canadian each...I think I'll pass.
