Muse Dropped From New Twilight Movie

Muse have been dumped from the third film in the Twilight movie series.After having songs featured in the first two films, the band were due to record a new track for the third film, Eclipse. They were planning to work on it with producer Butch Vig. But the decision has been made not to have any Muse input this time around.

Drummer Don Howard told http://www.dose.ca/: “It was a love song, so it’s a personal song, and it wasn’t really to do with the films. But it was sounding good. We worked on it in Australia, we were ready to record, we were going to do some recording with Butch Vig, so we might still do it. I’m sure the song will definitely come to life for real at some point.”

Oh no, what an absolute tragedy.

why is this even news,im sure some depressed goth girls may be upset that their crap movie will lacking in a quality tune,but really the rest of us couldnt give a fuck

crappy band crappier movie

who gives a shit

@all the above

It’s “news” because a successful British band has been dropped from a seriously major Hollywood film which, regardless of your views on it, would have brought them further recognition/publicity/etc

Plus for reference Stephanie Mayer (the author of the Twilight books no less) references Muse in her “thanks to” page in each book as providing inspiration to her!

i can’t slag of muse cos their a bloody good band but i have no time for this influx of crapy vamp t’v shows and movies it’s getting boring and why isint necropscope been made in to a movie that would piss all over twilight.
