More Bands Confirmed For Sonisphere

Another host of names has been confirmed for the Sonisphere Festival. And the latest batch includes Europe, Therapy? and Alice In Chains.

Dir En Grey
They join the likes of Iron Maiden, Rammstein, Alice Cooper and Slayer, who’ve already been confirmed. The festival happens at Knebworth Park from July 30 to August 1.

Hahahahahahaha, complete announcment fail for sonisphere’s special guest announcment. Haha can you imagine all the maiden fans who are gonna be like WTF!!!!!! Who are these dance music hoodlums?!? Amazing well done soni, shame you have Europe wanted them at DL but hey you never know right, fingers crossed

Looking forward to seeing Europe on July 30th. Caught the band at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire earlier this year and they were mind blowing.
WTF why ha ha ha Stellar lineup i think not fussed on pendulum but with aic europe lacuna coil sick of it all and the mighty Therapy? playing all of troublegum I would love this.
So what if there is a few band you’re not fussed on thats why festivals are so good, if you dont like what you see here get the funk out!!!
So, where the hell are Metallica?? How come they’re doing all the other Sonispheres and not the UK??

I probably fall into the demographic that people might expect to be horrified by Pendulum being Sonisphere special guests. And this time last year then I would have been OK with that. Then I saw them at last year’s Download. Seriously guys, give them a chance. I genuinely thought I was going to hate them, but live they really are special. The band are seriously tight and give out more energy than the majority of traditional rock bands out there. I’m never going to go and buy their albums but see them live? You betcha.
PENDULUM?????? Like a shit sandwich in a wedding buffet…. Don’t these organisers know anything about their clients? It’s a Rock/Metal festival not namby pamby dance,point at the sky, big fish little fish rave fest! Thank God for High Voltage Festival, probably one of the best line-ups of the year (could do with an alternative to ELP headlining though!)

Agree that Europe at Download would be ace. get them for the 3rd stage headliners like Thunder last year

Europe, AIC + THERAPY? is plenty good enough for me in this announcement…. the rest are a bonus.
