Please stop writing about The Clash. And while we are on the subject stop writing about the rolling stones, the who and Bruce Springsteen as well. I do not buy Classic Rock mag to read about these bands. I like some of these bands but Classic Rock are not the right place for them. I want Deep Purple and Iron Maiden and American bands like Foreigner which nobody else writes about! That is what YOU are there for. When you write about The Clash, Stones, Bruce and so on you sound like you are trying to be trendy and clever and it is not convincing. You are convincing when you write about heavy metal. That is what I by you for!!
The last gig the Kensaltownfund did was really rocking! Its a perfect night where they show cases a lot of up and coming acts.. fun had by all.!
There are only two things wrong with this article.
a) The name of the band is Rotten Hill Gang (not Rotting)
b) Mick Jones’ band is called Carbon Silicon. He’s good enough to contribute to RHG when available. Will he be available on that night? No way of telling till nearer he time.
Steve Dior and his high energy rock n roll band the Delinquents are something very special going to be a brilliant night
