Michael Monroe Chooses Producer

Michael Monroe is to work with famed producer Jack Douglas on his new studio album. Douglas has previously worked with Aerosmith, Slash’s Snakepit and Clutch.

Monroe and his band will spend the whole of September working on the record in LA, for release next year.

The former Hanoi Rocks frontman has also revealed that he broke two ribs while guesting with Slash at the Summer Sonic Festival in Japan earlier this month. Says Monroe: “I sang one song with him, We’re All Gonna Die. During the guitar solo, I ran along the aisle, all the way to the mixing board…but on my way back, I slipped and fell, hitting my back of the metal barricade”.
