Michael Anthony:

Well, we didn’t see this coming now, did we? After Eddie Van Halen’s claims that Michael Anthony quit Van Halen, Anthony has come out to deny these claims within 24 hours.

In an interview with MusicRadar, Anthony has said: “I never quit Van Halen. No way. Why would I have quit Van Halen? It never happened. And what’s weird is, he was being asked about Chickenfoot, whether he had heard us or not, and suddenly he launches into this thing about me quitting the group. What does one thing even have to do with the other?”

Check out the full interview here!

Chickenfoot, the super group featuring Anthony, Sammy Hagar, Joe Satriani and Chad Smith, release their debut album (complete with mad packaging!) this coming Monday, June 8th.

Kick some ass Mike!!!!

Musicramis

Band mates don’t give other band mates pay cuts unless something is brewing. Eddy obviously had Wolfgang in mind to replace Michael, so he had him take a cut in pay and was “invited not to return” to the tour. I wish Chickefoot and mates all the luck in the world….ROCK ON!!!
