Megadeth, Testament Plan Special Live Sets
Megadeth and Testament are pulling out the stops to make their upcoming US tour together something special.
Megadeth are to perform the whole of the Rust In Peace album, to celebrate its 20th anniversary, while Testament will be playing in its entirety debut album The Legacy, although they will be without guitarist Alex Skolnick. Die to other commitments, he’ll miss the tour, with former Megadeth man Glen drover stepping into the breach.
Exodus are also on the tour, but so far they’ve not announced anything special. Still, they’ve always got their Shovel Headed Kill Machine album to fall back on.
The dates run from March 1 to 31. Whether Megadeth will do something similar when they play at the Download Festival in June remains to be seen.

Oh come on Classic Rock! Exdous have “always got their Shovel Headed Kill Machine album to fall back on”. Why would they want to rely on an album from 2005? Why not 2007’s The Atrocity Exhibition… Exhibit A or their new album The Atrocity Exhibition… Exhibit B- The Human Condition?
Try and keep up!
What is it with playing albums “in their entirety”? It’s boring! I’d rather not know the set list at a gig.
They are copying Metallica as they did the Master of Puppets Tour which was worth it. I can not say the same for the Ritual by Testament.
