Manson stage collapse ‘was flu’

Collapse: Marilyn Manson
Marilyn Manson’s stage collapse in Canada on Wednesday was due to the shock rocker suffering from flu, a spokesman has said.
The singer was sick several times on stage in Saskatoon and eventually passed out midway through hit track Beautiful People.
The audience were confused over whether it was part of the show, especially as the rest of the band kept playing. The situation only became clear when crew members appeared to help Manson offstage.
He didn’t go to hospital after cutting the set short, but instead returned to his hotel to rest – and he’s aiming to perform as planned in Calgary tonight.
TMZ reports: “Manson had been feeling like crap all day long from various flu symptoms – but didn’t wanna call of his concert.
“Problem is, when he hit the stage he started feeling worse, vomiting on stage several times before collapsing.
“We’re told he still feels ‘drained’ but he’s focusing on recovery.”
