Singer Johnny Van Zant comments, “Skynyrd has been with a lot of labels over the years and we are excited to be reunited with one of the best, Tom Lipsky and his new label Loud & Proud. We’re busy putting the finishing touches on our next record being produced by Bob Marlette and can’t wait for the fans to hear it.” He goes on to say, “Our brother Billy Powell recorded 6 tracks before his sudden passing and we are confident he’d be very happy with the end result. We’re all really proud of this record and who better to put it out than Loud & Proud!”
While Roadrunner President Jonas Nachsin adds, “We at Roadrunner are thrilled to be associated with Lynyrd Skynyrd as they move forward in a beyond storied career. This partnership between two powerhouse rock brands has just ignited.”
