Last Tour For The Stones?
Are the Rolling Stones going to do a farewell world tour next year?
There are rumours – yes, again! – that the Greatest Rock ‘N’ Roll Band In The World will go out on the road next year. And this could be the last time.
A source apparently told The Sun: “They’re likely to perform in stadiums. It’s almost certainly the last full-scale world tour. The band realise that age is creeping up on them. They want to bow out on top of their game, and not short-change their fans”.
Mind you the phrase ‘almost certainly the last full scale world tour’ sounds like a bit of hedging your bets to us.
And as if on cue, Ronnie Wood has refuted this unnamed source: “We have all agreed this won’t be the last time. Everyone’s rocking.”

Keith Richards will die on stage, Tommy Cooper style.
The stones have been cheating fans since 1972. should have turned it in years ago.
if it is the last one ,i hope bill rejoin for it
Agree about Wyman comming back. Also dump that old fool Ronnie Wood & bring back Mick Taylor.
The thing about the Sun is that they make up stories to fill their pages. Hardly any of it is based on fact. Besides, every single Stones tour since the 70s has been reported as being the last!
They should have had a farewell tour in 1974.
All this means is that it took them two years to talk Charlie into doing it
I saw them first in 1990 in case it was their last as they were 40+ !! I’m now 50 and there is no reason for them or anyone else to stop coz someone says they’re ‘too old’!! Jagger always shows the youngsters how to do it. It will be sad for Britain when they stop (die) and I could easily compile a superb ‘best-of’ from the last 4 cds they’ve made. Some fillers sure, but some great tracks, easily as good as tracks on earlier albums. Keep rockin’!!!
