Last Chance To Enter Prog’s CD Cover Art Comp

gbarton / News / 09/11/2009 16:01pm

The entries have been flying in so we decided to extend the deadline for our competition to design the cover for the free Prognosis CD given away with Issue six of Classic Rock Presents Prog until Friday, November 13.

Artist Mark Wilkinson, the man responsible for much of Marillion and Fish’s enigmatic cover artwork is going to judge the entries and choose the winner. Mark’s new book, Shadowplay, will be released in mid-November. For further details see: www.the-masque.com.

The specifications for the competition are as follows:

For original artwork being sent to us (hand illustrations/painting, etc.), the actual artwork needs to be a minimum of h125mm x w123mm, but can be as big as A4 size.

Computer-based artwork (illustration/photography) needs to be supplied as a high resolution .jpg, minimum 300dpi at the above dimensions.

Please note that no words should be added to the artwork, as we will add any text on later.

E-mail your entries to prog@futurenet.co.uk or post to: Prog, 2 Balcombe Street, London, NW1 6NW. And don’t forget to include your contact details.

And it’s not too late to vote in the 2009 Readers’ Poll. Send your nominations for the following categories (for 2009 only please) to: voteprog@futurenet.co.uk.
