LA Guns replace Stacey Blades

LA Guns have announced Frankie Wilsey, an old friend of the band, will replaced Stacey Blades, who quit last week.
He was guitarist with Sea Hags in the 1980s, before forming Arcade with Ratt’s Stephen Pearcy and Cinderella’s Fred Coury.
LA Guns say in a statement: “”We first met Frankie back in 2007 when he was playing in Arcade on the Rock Never Stops tour.
“He spent more time on our bus than his own, impressing us with hours of classic bootleg videos from the 70s and 80s. He was clearly a rock aficionado, truly a scholar and a gentleman.
“In addition to lots of sessions, Frankie recently toured with legendary singer John Waite and also had a residency in Las Vegas as Joe Perry in the definitive Aerosmith tribute band, Aeromyth. He joins the band with guns blazing, ready to tour the world and get involved in writing and recording new original material.”
Wilsey says: “I met Phil Lewis and Steve Riley years ago, traveling down this road. I found out they’re blessed with classic rock style and a road warrior ethic that is rare in this weakling world of music. I think this is a very good match-up – let’s hope the fans feel the same.”
Meanwhile, bassist Victor Borge has quit TNT after seven years. He says: “I have decided to accept another offer. My best wishes and good luck to the boys in the band and crew for the future. And not least, thanks to all of you who have been so incredibly positive and great support for me during my time in the TNT.”
Frontman Tony Mills adds: “Sadly, after many years of working with a man who helped save my life at the airport in Oslo, our paths take separate roads in music. He has become very much a brother to me, helping me recover and regain my full strength and always being there, no matter. Good luck bro, with all that you plan and achieve.”
