Kiss, Genesis And Stooges Nominated For Hall Of Fame Induction

Kiss, Genesis and The Stooges are among the 12 acts nominated for induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame next year.
Also nominated are The Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Hollies.
This by means guarantees their inclusion. They are now on the ballot form which will be sent out to 500 music industry people and musicians. The five who receive the most votes then go forward to be inducted on March 15 at the 25th such ceremony, which is to happen in the Waldorf-Astoria in Manhattan.
The results of the ballot will be made public in January.

Whether your a fan or not, the fact that Kiss is not in while other non-rocks are just makes it even more of a sham…………and what about Rush???
The Stooges before KISS??? Should never happen,but looking at the list of who is in hall now it would’nt surprise me one bit….Not sure The Stooges should ever go in,as well as Donna Summer.
Haha…..fair comment there M.E. about Gene….but unfortunately he’s obviously made a pact with the devil and will probably outlive Paul, Peter & Ace….get them in there while they can I say and they should also get the other members like Vinnie, Bruce & Eric as well…Thayer can get fucked as he’s only played on the last record – which is total crap btw…
If I were KISS I’d tell them to stick their nomination up their arse! It’s shocking that it’s taken until 2009 to even debate their inclusion. KISS don’t need them! I am aware obviously that Gene & Paul’s ego will never let this happen!
like them or not kiss ruled the word for a time and thats why they should be there,as for some other bands they all have legitimate reasons for why they should be included also

Sonic Boom is an excellent album!! Same goes for Anomaly.
Anyhoo … of course KISS deserve to be in. They’ve been the most glaring omission for years now. I would guess that IF they do get the nom, the original four, Bruce, Eric and Tommy would all take part.
Here’s hoping the Stooges make the final list as well.
Regardless, the Hall is a sham … but we already knew that.
