Kenny Wayne Shepherd Video Exclusive (Part 2)
Kenny Wayne Shepherd has a brand new album out titled How I Go. Come inside for part two of our track-by-track guide, featuring an exclusive video interview with the hot blues guitarist. Part one is here.
Prodigious blues guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd may only be 33, but he’s already had a career that most budding musicians would kill for: more than eight million record sales in the bag along with six No.1 albums (1997′s Trouble Is stayed on the Billboard Blues Charts for more than two years), Grammy nominations and Billboard awards, plus tours and performances with idols and legends alike such as Aerosmith, BB King, The Rolling Stones, Van Halen and The Howlin’ Wolf and Muddy Waters bands.
How I Go, his sixth studio album, is a swaggering, blues-infused rock behemoth, taking Shepherd’s not inconsiderable skills as a guitar player and turning them all the way up to 11.
Shepherd has also lined up a hotly anticipated UK show at London Koko on November 7. Go here for tickets.
Watch the video below for part two of Shepherd’s track-by-track guide – and stay tuned to the Classic Rock website for the third and final part, coming soon.
