Josh Homme Revives Label

Josh Homme has reactivated his label Rekords Rekords, and has plans for a raft of releases.
The Queens Of The Stone Age/Them Crooked Vultures frontman intends to release new Desert Sessions albums (including a box set of all the recordings), a solo album from QOTSA guitarist Alain Johannes, plus DVDs and books.
Homme told Rolling Stone: “I want to make Rekords Rekords like the Wolfman Jack of releasing stuff. You listen to him (the celebrated 60s radio DJ) for his taste. I want to build up a trust with the audience. Our slogan is ‘Where the “Shit” Hits the Fan’ — with the ’shit’ in quotes”.
