Joe Perry is to play a one-off headline show in London on April 13.

This will be at the 100 Club, with tickets priced at £32.50. They go on sale from 9am on Friday, February 19 at www.livenation.co.uk

It’s the start of a busy period for Perry.

He and his solo band will be supporting Bad Company on their spring UK tour (all the details are here) and then he joins Aerosmith for their headlining appearance at the Download Festival.

That’s lovely.

Where’s the latest update to the High Voltage line-up then????

Overnight there was a slight glitch with regard to one of the bands we were going to announce – hopefully we’ll be able to post the latest additions to the High Voltage bill tomorrow.

Geoff that sounds ominous, also Gary Moore is not showing on the bill at the moment….

gbarton

Not ominous at all, just making sure we dot all the ‘T’s and cross all the ‘I’s (or something like that).

Perry and Aerosmith must be loving the exposure that Classic Rock are giving them at the moment.

Don’t wanna sound ungrateful but am I alone in thinking that the free Joe Perry album with the latest Classic Rock, is a bit, well… erm, runny turd?

Steve Emmerson

How good do you expect an album to be if they give it away?
no wonder the US label wont release it until Oct.

I agree, its possibly one of the worst albums i’ve ever heard in my life.

I love Aerosmith and Joe Perry but c’mon surely someones in charge of quality control in camp Perry. It sounds like a demo tape of ideas, is it possible theres been a mix up?

The sound quality and production is p poor. I could do better in my back bedroom in fact I have( http://www.myspace.com/slrsound ).

The worst of it is, i’ve got tickets to see him at the Bad Company gig…c’mon Rodgers i’m depending on you not to ruin my night :-)
