The Aerosmith guitarist’s new album, ‘Joe Perry … Have Guitar Will Travel’, is expected to be with us by the end of the year.

According to Reuters, the new set will feature vocals from Perry on 4 tracks, while little-known German vocalist, Hagen, is expected to sing on the album’s other 5 tracks. Just to make this revelation a little weirder, it’s been revealed that Hagen was discovered on YouTube by Perry’s wife, Billie.

Aerosmith are currently on a Stateside jaunt with ZZ Top, where they are playing their classic album ‘Toys In The Attic’ in its entirety.

probably will be better than the next aerosmith cd !! glad joe got some vocal help on this one, singing is just not his thing..

Perry is an okay singer but his voice is just a little flat… I’m really looking forward to this album! I might have to check out this Hagen person!

In 1958, Duane Eddy’s first album was called “Have Twangy Guitar Will Travel”. Then, in 1959, Bo Diddley released “Have Guitar Will Travel”. Now, a fan, via Twitter, passes the title on to Joe Perry. I think a new, young rock band, putting out their first CD, should call it “Toys In The Attic”. Seems fair.

Just found this awesome Joe Perry widget on his Facebook fan page. It regularly updates itself with news, bio info, music and other cool stuff……here’s the link if you want to check it out!
