You do have a very good point, but repetition is very common in many of Iron Maiden songs, some of which are considered to be some of their best work. The chorus “Brave New World” was extremely repetitive, and there were fewer key changes, but I’ve still heard people cite it as one of their all-time favourites. There are also tracks like “The Evil That Men Do” and “Seventh Son of a Seventh Son”, both having just one-sentence choruses. “For the Greater Good of God” was very repetitive, but it was still possibly the best track on “A Matter of Life and Death”. “Afraid to Shoot Strangers” repeats the four words of the title over and over towards the end of the song. “No More Lies” is repetitive, “Lightning Strikes Twice” is repetitive, and even “Run to the Hills” is a little repetitive (but to a lesser degree).

You’re fully entitled to your opinion, and I’m not going to try and change it because even I would much rather a more interesting chorus in “The Final Frontier” (as well as some more interesting choruses in many other Maiden tunes), but all I’m saying is that it’s nothing new and it’s not an issue on this song exclusively.

Just because Gary hasn’t sold millions of records doesn’t mean he can’t have an opinion, good or bad, on how he thinks a song is.

As it is I haven’t as such heard this song, going to wait until I get the CD in order to listen to it. I’ve enjoyed pretty much all Maiden’s albums, so am sure I’ll get something out of this one, even if it turns out not to be the best they’ve ever released.
