Iggy And The Stooges Box Up Raw Power

Iggy And The Stooges are to release a three-CD box set version of their classic 1973 album Raw Power.

This will be out at the end of April. The first disc will have a remastered version of the David Bowie mix for the original album. The second disc is being titled the Georgia Peaches bootleg. This is a live recording straight off the sound desk of a show in Atlanta, Georgia in 1973. Added to this are the previously unreleased song Doojiman, plus a rehearsal performance of Head On.

The final CD has four outtakes from the recording sessions for the album: I’m Hungry, I’m Sick Of You, I Got A Right and Hey, Peter. Plus different mixes of Shake Appeal, Death Trip, Gimme Danger and Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell.

There’s also an hour-long documentary on the making of Raw Power, a replica of a Japanese 1973 seven-inch single of the song Raw Power, plus a 48-page book.

This will only be available through the Stooges website: www.iggyandthestoogesmusic.com
