Home Of Metal Website Celebrates Midlands Legends

The Home Of Metal, which celebrates the West Midlands contribution to the world of rock and metal, is to launch its digital archive later this month.
The website aims to showcase the importance of bands like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Judas Priest. They’re after fan contributions to the site – ‘everything from concert tickets to photographs, badges, album covers, t-shirts, demo tapes, fan letters, fanzines, flyers, lyrics, posters, press articles, set lists and promotional materials’. The website will also have family trees and special interviews.
The aim is to expand this into a travelling exhibition, going round the area next summer.
