High Voltage: Glenn Hughes On Ronnie Dio
Glenn Hughes has paid a tribute to Ronnie James Dio, as he prepares to play a set in honour of the late vocalist at High Voltage.
“When I walk on to the stage at High Voltage with my mates in Heaven And Hell, it will be to celebrate the life of our brother Ronnie James Dio. I can’t think of any other artist who has given so much with his generosity and charitable contribution.
“We will remember Ronnie as the Voice Of Metal. We have also lost a loving, intelligent, sweet and caring human being. RJD was a giver, not a taker. Your songs will live forever brother, and you will never be forgotten.”
Hughes, and Jorn Lande, will sing with Heaven And Hell on the main stage at High Voltage on July 24.
