Blabbermouth are reporting that if you live in Edinburgh, you could get up close and personal with one of Jimi Hendrix’s guitars.
Edinburgh Evening News reports that a guitar belonging to Jimi Hendrix was today arriving in Edinburgh, Scotland to take up residence in Hard Rock Café. Security was heightened for the delivery this morning at 9:30 a.m. from Denver, Colorado.
The guitar was carefully taken across the Atlantic yesterday to allow it to be part of Hard Rock’s “Top of the Rock” awards program. The scheme recognizes top-performing branches across the globe by allowing them to display instruments from the world’s greatest musicians, stored in the company’s collection.
