Hendrix At Glastonbury!

Jimi Hendrix is playing the Pyramid Stage at the Glastonbury Festival!Well, he is in a clever video clip created by Julien Temple for the song Bleeding Heart, which is on the new album Valleys Of Neptune, released next week. In it, the combination of Glasto fans and Hendrix onstage gives the impression of the legendary guitarist performing at the celebrated festival.

It’s all part of a mini fantasy, which ends with a cameo appearance from Glastonbury promoter Michael Eavis. Check it out for yourself here

As a professional drummer, I too have experienced loss. We lost Lester Butler and William Clark, both outstanding Blues artists gone as each artist was achieving their height of musicianship. I was the drummer for both of those artists. Sure we keep memories alive and look for undiscovered jewels no matter what they are and that’s all good. When I go, I hope my contribution to the world’s music is never forgotten, not that I am or will be at the stature of Jimi Hendrix, it’s all about the future of music. And if I find Jimi Hendrix playing a triangle, it means something. It all has order. We learn of all of this.
