Heaven And Hell To Play High Voltage Festival
Heaven And Hell are the latest additions to Classic Rock’s High Voltage Festival line-up.
The current Heaven And Hell line-up of Ronnie James Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Vinnie Appice originally formed to tour the 1980 Black Sabbath album of the same name.
The band went on to record the classics Mob Rules, Live Evil and Dehumanizer.
Brought together again in 2006 as Heaven And Hell, the band have recently released a critically acclaimed new album, 2009’s The Devil You Know, and proved themselves as one of the world’s best live rock acts.
Their High Voltage performance will be as part of a 30th anniversary tour.
The bill for Classic Rock’s High Voltage shebang is shaping up as follows:
HEADLINERS:
• ZZ Top (July 24) and ELP (July 25)

H&H was the first band I ever saw, so i can’t wait to see them again. having said that, I’d rather hear that Dio was all clear before they start doing shows again, nothing should be more important right now than his health.
Please add Curved Air and Ten Years After to the bill please.
Old prog rock fan.
great addition, the heaven and hell album was def one of my faves this year.but will ronnie be well enough to do this?,hopefully they wont have to replace him.
i’d rather dio get a clean bill of health before this gets the go-ahead. hes going through alot by his latest announcement.
