Hard Rock Hell Launches Road Trip To Ibiza
Never Mind The Balearics! The organisers of the annual Hard Rock Hell festival are to stage a brand new summer 2010 shebang on the Mediterrean island of Ibiza.
Dubbed the Hard Rock Hell Road Trip, the event takes place June 2-9.
The Hard Rock Hell Road Trip is proudly sponsored by Classic Rock, Metal Hammer, Classic Rock Presents Prog, Rock Radio and Scuzz TV, who will each be hosting an arena during the week’s trip.
There will be five big nights out. Bands so far confirmed include Wolf, Grand Magus, Die Apokalyptischen Reiter, Alestorm, TYR, Battlelore and Attica Rage.
Hard Rock Hell promoter Jonni Davis said:
“We’ve been working on this for a year now. We’ll have our own hotels, our own bars, our own venues, all as exclusive as we want them to be. We want to turn this into something that people will remember as a true rock experience for the rest of their lives.”
The Hard Rock Hell Road Trip costs £190/£180 per person. For that you get seven nights’ accommodation and entrance to all events. There’s a bonus boat trip and other optional activities.
Kids under 11 are free; kids ages 11-14 get a 50 per cent discount.
All rooms sleep two or three people with air conditioning, TV and swimming pool access.
Flights are not included. The earlier you book flights the cheaper they are. Most are up for about £50-£70 at the moment.
