Hard Rock Hell 2013 unveils first bands
Hard Rock Hell 7 has announced its first round of acts for this year’s event. Among the attractions are Nazareth, Love/Hate, Enuff Z’Nuff, Crucified Barbara and a co-headline appearance by Black Star Riders.
HRH 7 (aka Cirque Du Rock) takes place November 28-30 at Hafan Y Mor Holiday Park in Phwelli, North Wales.
Black Star Riders are the new band featuring Thin Lizzy members Ricky Warwick, Scott Gorham, Damon Johnson and Marco Mendoza, and who have now been joined by Jimmy DeGrasso (Alice Cooper/ Megadeth) on drums. They’ve just signed a record deal with Nuclear Blast and will release their much-anticipated album this summer.
BSR’s Ricky Warwick says: “We really can’t wait to take Black Star Riders on the road – and I’ve heard so much about Hard Rock Hell. Roll on November!”
Also confirmed to play at this year’s Hard Rock Hell are legendary Scottish rockers Nazareth and former Iron Maiden Frontman Paul Di’Anno, who will make his last ever live appearance at this year’s event. Plus Northern Ireland’s The Answer whose new album is due out on Napalm Records later this year.
HRH is also pleased to announce Love/Hate, Enuff Z’Nuff, Blaze Bayley (who is set to perform classic Maiden songs from his tenure with the band), Crucified Barbara, Lawnmower Deth, Gentlemans Pistols, Chrome Molly and Grifter.
