Guns N' Roses Deny Everything

Over the course of the past few days we’ve heard that Guns N’ Roses are having their video for ‘Better’ held up by Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich and that the band will be taking part in a mammoth 2 year world tour but the band have now moved to deny both claims.

Firstly, GNR have denied that Lars Ulrich is holding up the process for their new video for the track ‘Better’. In a statement, the band have said:

“Lars isn’t holding anything up with our video. Our message board comments were meant casually, in fun and amongst friends. Unfortunately, someone with Blabbermouth may have taken things a bit out of context and made them into a bit more than they are in reality.”

“Our apologies to anyone who may have been confused.”

“We hope to have our video out shortly.”

“Thank you.”

Also, no sooner had guitarist Richard Fortus announced that there would be a full-scale Guns tour beginning in March, he has now moved to shoot down his own rumour.

In a new statement, Fortus has said:

“OK, it seems that I am being misquoted once again. I never said that GN’R would be playing St. Louis, nor did I say that we will be doing free shows or that we are starting a two-year tour in March! Selective hearing. Never said it.”
