Groundhogs Work With Grunge Producer

The Groundhogs are currently working on a new album – and it’s been produced by grunge veteran Jack Endino.

The producer, most known for working with such bands as Nirvana, Soundgarden and Mudhoney, was in the UK at the end of last year, working with the veteran blues rockers.

Endino told Classic Rock: “I sure had a nice time over there, in spite of the terrible weather!”

Endino also played bass on one song “because they asked me to.”

Right now, Groundhogs mainman Tony McPhee is putting the finishing touches to the as yet untitled album, which Endino hopes to mix later in the year.
