Seb Bach as support is great news , I know he tours with them in the US but in 06 he just sang on My Michelle with Axl..

Saw 5 or so years ago in a small venue in Torquay Top Man and a great performer roll on 17th October ..

Okay, I think Axl needs to wind up this tour and get back in the studio. ‘Chinese Democracy’ needs a follow-up, and this tour is pointless because it’s just resulting in him screwing up his voice even more.

!!!!

After the 2006 tour, I thought no-one would ever want to buy another GnR ticket.

Who wants to be stuck on the North Greenwich Peninsular at 1am on a work night?

This tour is not pointless. It’s the Chinese Democracy tour. It’s the first time he’s coming here since putting out the record. I’d like to see him play songs off the record and it would seem so do others.

Question:
What have Guns n Roses; Linkin Park & Pearl Jam have in common?

Answer:
All have BOYCOTTED playing dates in Scotland!!
They played England and Northern Ireland.

SO STOP SAYING IT’S A UK TOUR AS IT’S NOT

Can someone please explain why!!!!

ha fucking ha! they were due to play in Barcelona on the 14th, i stupidly bought tickets and now it is rearranged for uk gigs, it would cost double to rearrange everyting! fucking axl!

Sad to see that there are no Irish, Scottish or Welsh dates on this tour, considering how popular the band are throughout the UK. I agree with Hayden in the respect that it would be good to see some new material emerge. I thought Chinese Democracy was a bit of a disappointment. If it had been released in 1994/95 it would have been considered a classic, but times move on sadly. I am sure Axl has a classic album left in him, so why not get some new tunes out?

I find it bizarre that so many people still want to see this cabaret act!!

Now i know i am getting old but i could have sworn Bach supported them in 06; shame no one else will come out with Axl other than his buddy

I thought there were dates in Belfast and Dublin Sean have they been pulled then ?

Yes, Seb Bach supported GnR on the majority of their 2006 uk tour, and did a good job of warming the crowd up. I’m really looking forward to it. Lets face it the people that moan about the original GnR not reforming are the type that are go and see the tribute bands in pubs .Go and see the one of the great rock frontman of all time !

There is an Irish date but it’s around the time of Reading/Leeds as opposed to when Axl come back from mainland europe. You don’t have to play every city in the UK for it to be a UK tour, thry’re not playing every European country but would you still call it a European tour. I do feel for you though it’s annoying when people just ignore where you’re at, here’s hoping for some more spread outdates though the liklihood of it is low

Just remember to turn up 45 minutes later as Axl needs 45 minutes to warm up his voice!! Then Everyone will be Happy and no more moans or groans that he’s late again!!
I think my job is done here!!

At least GNR played Belfast – there are numerous bands play UK tours and don’t come here and play Dublin instead.
There is also a Dublin band who have played numerous world tours and have not played Belfast since 1997!! Stand up U2 !

I too saw the first GNR tour with just AXL as the original band I thought is was in early 2000 not 2006 at the Tacoma dome in Washington state.
Yes AXL made everyone wait
We had to listend to some record guy mixing records (i forget his name)
about 5000 people showed up in a 20k plus venue
My buddy and I drove 80 miles
I have seen hundreds of shows
If we hadnt driven so far we would have left. It was the worst show I have EVER seen. AXL is a jerk
