Glenn Hughes Posts ‘Exciting’ Black Country Update
Glenn Hughes has posted a video update on the situation with his new band Black Country.
During the 45-second clip, where he rubs his hands gleefully and mentions how excited he is three times, the bassist/vocalist says:
“We’re in the studio giving it large and will have the album completed, hopefully, by the end of April for a September release.”
He finishes up: “We’re off to see the wizard, baby. So, see you on the road of happy destiny.”
Whether this is some sort of bonkers allusion to the album title we cannot say. But Hughes does say that he and guitarist Joe Bonamassa first put this project together over a year ago, the line-up now being completed by drummer Jason Bonham and keyboard player Derek Sherinian.
