Glenn Hughes’ Autobiography To Be ‘Literary Event’ Of 2010
Glenn Hughes is to publish his autobiography in 2010.
Co-written with Joel McIver, it has a foreword from Lars Ulrich.
To be published by Foruli, the as yet untitled book will feature rare and previously unseen photos, and the first edition will also include a bonus 10-inch EP.
Says Hughes: “My autobiography is going to be a literary event. I’ve been working on this book for the last three years and you’ve never read anything like it.
“It’s the true story of the Voice Of Rock, from my childhood via my career in Trapeze and Deep Purple to my addiction and recovery. I’m now on top of the world as a solo artist and after so many years of sobriety, I can hardly believe that I survived.
“I spent a million dollars on cocaine and, when you’ve read this book, you won’t believe it either.”
We particularly look forward to the chapter on ‘Showboating The Glenn Way’!

One item to put on the list to Santa
I like Glenn and his music a lot. But every album is his “my most important work ever” and I see he’s carried that into how he’s going to talk about his book.
Ah well… that’s just Glenn, I suppose.
Oh bless him. A truly awesome but wasted talent. Will he be constantly refering to himself as usual in the third-person and as The Voice of Rock? Should be a cracking read though.

So you are going to spend the $$ on the book then!? Make your mind up mdome – you either luv him or hate him!
