Darren Robinson , you had better shut the fuck up! glennhughes not a true rocker!????you’re having a laugh aren’t you? glenn in trapeze as lead vocalist??? trapeze is true rock! however whitesnake was just poncey perms on men. i like david coverdale but glenn has it all and can do it all! maybe you should listen to his “true rocking” on the stuff he’s released since his recovery from drug addiction, the album addiction for instance!!!!

this is ONLY the FIRST of several editions of the book – do not assume we are all the same. I for one think the ‘package’ is good value as it also includes an invitation to a be a guest at a future GH gig and a personal handwritten message from him. If these ‘extras’ togther with the deluxe packaging are’nt of interest to rock fans at large they can wait for the usual mass market edition of what promises to be a fascinating read. The publishers are simply giving fans of THE VOICE a CHOICE !! mikeyD

Yet another jab at Glenn Hughes from Classic Rock, somewhat of pattern here. Don’t hide behind headlines boys, just say how you really feel, but you wouldn’t want to get sued now would you!

Anyway, I don’t see why you’re geting so bent out of shape about this. It seems really clear that something special is being done with Glenn’s autobiography rather than just some run-of-the-mill paperback. I for one applaud the respect he is being given. There’s no doubt a regularly priced edition that will come eventually, but this high-end version is what’s ready now!

If you knew anything about publishing today, you’d know that these limited edition books are highly collectible.

Why don’t you headline facts about gig ticket prices, the mark up on those is no different than what you percieve to be an overpriced paperback here, right? At least the money is going into the right pockets here!

MDome should be ashamed of himself. What an inappropriate drug reference he placed in this autobiography article. Glenn is clean and sober and alive. Comment on the book, the limited editions and even the price, that’s fair game. But to make a statement that Glenn is “preusmably” pricing his book to recoup previous money spent on drugs is insulting.
P.S. you spelled “Presumably” wrong.

Never really got the “Voice of Rock” thing, as Hughes was never really a true rocker. Made a good backing singer for Mister Coverdale, though.

I think it’s great that Glenn is getting a book production of this quality. And it is similarly priced compared to the kind of thing that Genesis Publications have done with Brian Wilson and Queen. I bet it is not cheap to make if it is all hand made.

In saying all that, when you consider KISS want £905.00 for a 15minute meet&greet on the upcoming UK tour, if you’re a life-long Glenn fan it could be considered a bargain!
