Gig Of The Week: The Treatment
BAND: The Treatment
WHERE: London Borderline
WHEN: Tuesday, September 6
After their triumph at the High Voltage Festival, The Treatment are playing this special gig. Why special? Because it marks the re-release of their debut album This Might Hurt, which is to be made available from September 5 through Spinefarm. The new version not only has a totally different sleeve, but two extra acoustic tracks.
So what can expect from vocalist Matt Jones, guitarists Ben Brookland and Tag Grey, bassist Swoggle and drummer Dhani Mansworth? Here’s what Jones says:
“Most of the materiel in the set will be from our new album, plus some other tunes we like to play that aren’t on the album.”
There will also an added attraction caressing all sundry in the venue!
“Lots of scantily clad naughty nurses will be around. A Yamaha Guitar is going to be given away to the best dressed person. It’s going to be a classic night!”
Support comes from Six Hour Sundown (featuring Lauren Harris on vocals) and No Americana.
Next month, The Treatment will be opening for Alice Cooper. The dates are here.
