BAND: Magnum
WHERE: Newcastle Academy
WHEN: October 25
The veteran Brummies come to the UK in support of current album Into The Valley Of The Moon King, and singer Bob Catley reckons fans are really gonna get special performances.
“The British dates come after we’ve spent three weeks tour in Europe, so the show is going to be spot on. We’ll be at the top of our game, I promise you.”
The band have a new stage set – including interesting screen projections – and Catley believes Magnum fans will be very impressed.
“We’ve put a lot of effort into this show. It was about time we did something different. We’ve got six songs included from the new album, which are being very well received everywhere. And I just can’t wait t get to Newcastle and see old friends. Plus make some new ones.”
The support band in Newcastle are Decadenze, from Wrexham, who are on the bill for the first five dates on the tour.
“We always have good opening bands. It’s part of the show. And I’m sure the fans will appreciate them.
“We’re also doing special Moonblogs on our website, which are videos taking everyone behind the scenes on the tour. Of course, I am the Moon King!”
The rest of the dates on the tour are:

Hi there – we’re hardly classic since we’ve only been going a year, but my goup: Jerzey Street Band is supporting Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes (who are as classic as it gets) at the picturedrome on the 19th – we’d love for you to come watch.
There’s a guestlist if you fancy it?
