Classic Rock’s Roll Of Honour awards ceremony is fast approaching – as is our week of very special awards shows!
To mark this major event in the music calendar, Classic Rock is teaming up with leading concert promoter and venue owner Mean Fiddler to put on a series of shows headlined by world-famous musicians at intimate venues across London in the first week of November.
The first show – Europe at the Relentless Garage, Islington – was on Sunday, November 1.
The remaining shows are:
November 4: Uriah Heep at the Relentless Garage, Islington.
The British rock veterans continue their 40th anniversary celebrations with an unmissable evening of their prog-rock tinged crowd-pleasers, playing all the hits and some rarities in an up close and personal setting. Tickets are £18.50.
November 4: Ginger Baker & Friends at the London Jazz Café.
The world’s greatest drummer will be joined by names from his stellar career for a one-off show that promises to be truly unforgettable. Tickets are £60.
November 6: Paul Rodgers at the Hammersmith Apollo.
From Free, to Bad Company, to The Firm, to Queen + Paul Rodgers… the frontman has had a star-studded career, and then some. The Classic Rock week of gigs is bound to end in some considerable style with Rodgers’s show at this time-honoured west London venue. Tickets are priced at £37.50 plus booking fee.
Tickets for the gigs are available now and are available from www.meanfiddler.com, www.ticketweb.co.uk, www.hmv.com and in person from the Jazz Café box office from 4pm daily, with no booking fee.
Chris Ingham, Publisher of Classic Rock and Metal Hammer, said:
“Classic Rock is the home of high-voltage rock music, so I’m delighted that Future is partnering with Mean Fiddler to put on a series of incredible gigs in these intimate venues. We’ve secured an amazing line-up of performers our readers and fans of real music will love to see. These acts are world beaters who have sealed their reputations over decades and continue to raise the bar with unmissable performances.”
