“Our Simmons Records co-venture with Universal Music is doing well and we are about to announce some of our first signings.”

“We did a Dr Pepper commercial, which should be on the air at the beginning of the month.”

The new Dr Pepper commercial featuring “Dr. Love” (Gene Simmons) launches on March 30th, 2009 on network and cable television in the US. The commercial is said to feature Simmons in full Kiss “Demon” regalia and, it is also reported that, Nick Simmons, Gene’s son, will also star in the commercial.

“When initially describing Dr Pepper Cherry’s taste, we felt it had just a kiss of cherry and was so smooth, we knew who our third doctor had to be — Dr. Love,” said Allison Methvin, director of marketing for Dr Pepper, “Gene will get some help from Nick to introduce the amazingly smooth infusion of cherry flavor that makes Dr Pepper Cherry so smooth.”

That wasn’t cheesy at all, was it?
